Franklin Springs Community Demands Transparency

The Franklin Springs City Council is facing growing concerns from the community regarding a lack of transparency in their operations. Residents are questioning why city council meetings are not being recorded live or made available for public review, leaving many feeling excluded from important discussions. Furthermore, meeting notes reportedly fail to accurately reflect the key topics and decisions addressed during sessions, further eroding trust. The community rightfully demands answers and clarity on these issues.

Additionally, there is frustration over the limited access to important documents, such as the updated proposal that has not been made available in the online plan room. Requiring individuals to physically visit City Hall to view such documents creates unnecessary hurdles and raises concerns about equitable access to public information. The residents of Franklin Springs are calling for immediate action to address these transparency gaps and ensure accountability from their city leaders.
